The HRY1 series Explosion-proof magnetoresistive speed sensor complies with GB3836.1-2010 and GB3836.2-2010. The explosion- proof mark is Exd II CT6 Gb. It is Applicable to hazardous locations in Zone 1 and Zone 2 containing explosive mixtures of Class II A, B, CT1 T6 groups of combustible gas or steam and air in the factory.

Magnetoresistive speed sensor usually places the sensor head close to the tooth top of the detection gear installed on the rotating shaft. When the rotating shaft rotates with the gear, the sensor will sense a frequency signal proportional to the speed. Because the sensor is composed of permanent magnet, coil and magnetic steel, when the magnetic object is close to the magnetic steel, the magnetic flux in the coil will change, and an alternating voltage whose frequency changes in proportion to the magnetic flux will be established at both ends of the coil.
